Bengaluru - Top destination to study in India

In a recent survey conducted on the favorites destination to study in India, Bengaluru emerged on the top followed by Pune, Delhi-NCR and others. There are several factors that contribute to this.

Some of the main reasons are- Bengaluru being the silicon valley of India and has the maximum concentration of startups, most of which have an international footprint; some of the best universities are housed out of Bengaluru; Bengaluru as a city attracts a large migrant population due to its favorable climatic conditions and the quality of living.


 

Several top Universities visit north east to admit bright students. Students can now apply and attend the admission process in Guwahati, Assam for some of the top universities in Bengaluru.

These programmes are – BTech in Civil Engineering, BTech in Mechanical Engineering, BTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, BTech in Aerospace Engineering, BTech in Computer Science and Engineering and BTech in Information Technology. The undergraduate courses at the Alliance College of Engineering and Design are such that they offer students a Bachelor of Technology degree in their chosen discipline of engineering alongside minor specializations. Rare bird rescued in Kokrajhar

A bird with rare beautiful feather was rescued on Wednesday at Khargaon village in Kokrajhar district.
The bird was rescued by Ajit Kumar Brahma at a tree at Khargaon village this afternoon.The bird is saw with rare beautiful feather and long flying spirit structure.
Sajal Datta, a nature lover seid the bird is reached from foreign country like Bangladesh or Pakistan. He said that it is very rare to see with different colour on its structure. He said that the rescued bird has been safely handed over to wildlife department.

No let-up in BTAD; toll up 60

An uneasy calm settled over Kokrajhar and Chirang districts of Assam on Friday a day before prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh’s healing visit to Kokrajhar. Four more bodies were recovered in Gossaigaon on Friday taking the death toll to over 60. One more person was killed in police firing at the height of ethnic clash in Dhubri. The curfew in Chirang was relaxed till 4 in the afternoon. The violence has rendered over 2 lakh people homeless in 400 villages.

Union minister of state for home Kiren Rijiju a well organized cultural interface can go a long way in eradicating feeling of estrangement and boost bonhomie. 

In his address at the chef guest at the North East Cultural Festival at the Daulat Ram College in Delhi on Monday Rijiju said that these event would help the country create a better environment. 

He said that these cultural interfaces would give the country a good medium to discuss the vital issues confronting the north eastern region. 

Organized by the north east committee of the Delhi University college on Monday, the event pulled huge crowd where traditional Assamese bihu dance entertained the visitors along with other traditional performances.
