Former Minister Ardhendu Kumar Dey salms BJP

Former Minister and Present President of Hojai District Congress Commiittee Dr. Ardhendu Kumar Dey  on Wednesday in Press Conference held at his residence in Hojai, lambasted BJP Government for it's complete failure in running the government.  Dey raised suspicion on lockdown, he said it's just a  weapon being used for political gains.

He said in the place of Lockdown, Prevention was necessary, We have work force to tackle with any adversity. He said Lockdown cannot be a solution in a Country like India where  maximum population are  dependent on daily earnings. Due to lockdown more then 12 crore people are now jobless. Their families  are  now dreaming of one time meal.  

Showcashing the  graphs of increasing price rise in Crude oil and other things, Dey  vehemently targetted BJP Government, Dey asked," Whether We are kids? Whether We are not the citizens of India?

Why Day by Day the Price are skyrocketing?" "This Government is not taking any major step to control the Price rise, Prime Minister Modi,  Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal all are busy in misusing the power for their political gains, they don't care about common mans' plight.",Dey said.

Dey compared this Government to Hitler's Rule and said  Home Minister Amit Shah is Paul Joseph Goebbel of Modi's Government. ."At a time when we are surrounded with different types of problem viz., Corona Virus pandemic,Border Dispute, Flood, Collapsing Economy. Our Government is busy in blaming opposition and they are not letting a chance go to target 'opposition', Who  is firmly standing to show the Government it's mistake.", Dey asserted.Dey further said," I doubt Bharat is safe in the hands of this Government reason is their Suicidal Policy".Today no Country is with India, Whether it is Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Mynamar‌, Sri-lanka, Russia or any other? Why this is in happening? When Governmnet's main focus was on Foreign Policy?

Dey questioned. "At this juncture, BJP Government should leave Politics aside  and taking everyone together should stand firmly for  the sovergienity,intergity and security of our Nation.",Dey added.HDCC General Secretary Bijay Chakraborty,   Amarchand Dey, Lumding ex- MLA Swapan Kar and APCC Member Jay Prakash Gupta were also present in the Press Meet.

Youth electrocuted

Sensation Prevailed in Nilbagan under Hojai District, as one youth died of electrocution, while working at his home on Wednesday evening. The youth is Muna Ahmed(22), s/o  Nazrul Isam. The family immediately rushed him to Nilbagan Adarsha Hospital but Doctors declared him brought dead. Meanwhile, Murajhar Police got the information. They reached at deceased home and took the body in their custody and sent to Nagaon Civil Hospital for Postmertem. Covid-19 positive case in Hojai

Sensation Prevailed in the district. As at Lanka five persons of Heath Department viz asha-workers, nurse and fourth grade employee working at Lanka Preliminary Health Centre came out to be COVID-19 positive. As per information, the swab samples of these five were taken few days back, the report of which came on Sunday. The five person has no travel history. At present, the main gate of the Heath Centre is closed and whole centre is being sansitized. On the other hand, three positive cases were reported from Daboka. Sonowal visits flood hit Hojai district

Hojai: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Monday took stock of various flood affected areas  in Hojai district. CM visited viz, Hatimura,Dakshin Kenduguri, Nabhanga,Jugijaan Villages here. Notably, due to incessant rain last week, the Kopili and Jamuna river were over-flooded as a consequence of which many villages of the district were submerged in first wave of flood.
