Gogoi admits security lapse in the city

A stunned Assam Chief Minister has admitted that there has been lapses in security arrangement in the city which resulted in the recurrence in the serial blast. Talking to reporters during his visit to th blast sites, Gogoi said it's clearly has indicated a case of security lapses.

The Union home minister P Chidambaram, who has arrived in the city minutes after the blast said the sting of blast a handiwork of ULFA.

Assam DGP GM Srivastava also said ULFA is behind the serial blast took ppace in Bhangagarh, Birubari and Bhootnath area on Thursday evening. Three blast in the city left 5 dead and over 40 injured. The Home minister is schedule to hold a crucial discussion on Friday to review the state's ;aw and order situation.
