Sainik School Goalpara old boys meeting
The Old Boys Association of Sainik School Goalpara is going to organize its Annual General Meeting in Guwahati on 14th February with a day long programme. The OBA SSG is one of the prominent organizations of the region, which conducts and organizes different programmes across the country. It is to be mentioned that it has got branches and members all over the country and abroad. A colorful souvenir shall be published on the occasion of AGM. In a bid to generate awareness on climate change young people from different parts of northeast came together to form Youth Alliance for Climate in 2008. It was a youth programme conducted by Indo Global Social Service Society as a part of their SMILE programme. The participants of that programme decided to form a network as the discussion of the youth programme was on climate change. YAC organises programme in different parts of North East. North East Dialogue Forum (NEDF) is organizing a lecture on the possible impacts of EU-India Free Trade Agreement on the marginalized people of North East on29th November at Guwahati Press Club at 9 am. The lecture would be delivered by Mr. Kavaljit Singh from Madhyam , New Delhi. The lecture has been organized to make people aware about the FTA and its possible impacts on the North East region of the country. GODWINS School organized its Annual Exhibition 2010 on October 30 within the school campus at Sarusajai, NH 37, Guwahati.
