Rhino killed, horn taken away
According to delayed report poachers killed a stray rhino in Lohre Chapori of the Brahmaputra on the night of January 28 and took away the horn. In the year 2009 the park lost 67 rhinos in the natural death, 14 by poachers. It lost also 8 Royal Bengal tiger in the Park in the last year.

Tulshi Bardolo, of Marangi of Panikara Gaon, Golaghat, breathed his last in the night of January 6th at his was residence due to old age. He was 87. He left behind wife Putu Bardoloi, four sons and three daughters,who loved him very much and we all hope the best for them.
