Chakka bandh disrupts normal transport service


A 12 chaka bandh heavily disrupts normal transport service in Assam also on Tuesday. Called by motor transport workers engaged in the unorganised sector across the country, the strike began at 6 inthe morning.Barring a few ASTC run buses other services are remainin off from the streets in the city.On the other hand,the city bus services are also striking work on Tuesday demanding government permission to hike the fares citing fuel pricehike.
