The word of mouth affect has made a long queue to their pandal to experience the deity Durga and surrounding made of glasses only. But, besides the main Puja theme crowd has fallen in love with 40 feets height long lord Shiva statue made as main entrance. With a budget of around 7-8 lakhs, truly Nagaon is fast catching-up with its Bengal counter-parts when it comes to attract visitors with its unique Puja themes.

The theatre regime continues to enthrall Nagaon crowd with variety plays each comprising diffferent aspect of life in it. The latest to join the band-wagon here are 'Rajshree Theatre' which is going to host 3 days show from March 25 at local Nehru Bali field. The play to be enacted includes Champak Sarmah's 'Bali', Jiten Sarmah's 'Saraighat' and Hemant Dutt's 'Sapanur Phool'. The music will be composed by Vijaylaxmi-Hemant Thakuria duo.
The mobile theatre troupes are now only entertaining urban crowds but they are immense popular in remote sub-urban towns, taluka etc. As they are not having opportunity to enjoy each prominent troupe like district head-quarters, their enthusiasm as well as love towards up-coming theatre troupe can only be felt in shows being organised in remote location of Assam.
