AASU, KSU ADSU plans stir

Three powerful students bodies are all set to launch a joint agitation seeking solution to the burning problems confronting the state for years.

The issues include the problems of institutions of higher education, influx of foreign nationals, flood and erosion, inter-State border problems, unemployment problem and insurgency, etc.

According to information, the leaders of the students’ unions will stage a Satyagraha in the city between 11 am and 2 pm of October 31 seeking an end to these problems.

Further, they will take out torch light processions in the city and at Diphu and Haflong on November 4 next demanding an end to the influx problem.
