Kandarpa Neog, Class XI student of Nazira Boys Higher Secondary & Multi Purpose School has achieved best Childern Scientist Award in the National Children Science Conference held from December 27-31, 2011 at Jaipur National University, Rajasthan. Kandarpa along with three other from Assam selected for this event. They are, Ranuj Pegu from Dhemaji, Manakh Pratim Talukdar from Borpeta and Dewam Kakoti of Tinsukia.
Besides India children from other Asian countries, Indonesia, Combodia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Vietnam and Indonesia took part in this conference. The theme of the project for this conference was. “ Conservation of land property and its use for future generation.”
The project of Kandarpa was selected as best from among the 25 projects in this conference. The subject of the Kondorpa’s project was “ The study of erosion of Namdang river and its possible drawing for future.” It is to be mentioned the the Kardarpa’s project has already draw attention to the scientists and experts.
The 25 selected project from this Children Science conference will be exhibited in the National Conference of Innovation in February at Bangaluru. The five selected projects from this conference will be selected by National Science and Productivity Council for further research. According to the expert there will be a full chance for Kondorpa and he will owned patent for his project. The associate with Kondorpa was Uddipta Gogoi and the Caretaker teacher was Abhijit Buragohain.
