H. Lalchhanhimi steals the show
The grand finale of the Miss Mizoram contest 2014 was held last night at the Vanapa Hall in Aizawl and H. Lalchhanhimi was crowned Miss Mizoram 2014 amongst 16 other contestants who took part in the Mizoram beauty pageant. The last Miss Mizoram contest was held in 2005.
C. Vanlalmalsawmi was declared the 1st runners-up and Lalruatfeli, the 2nd runners-up of Miss Mizoram 2014.
Miss Mizoram winner received a cash reward of Rs. 110,000 while the 1st runners-up and 2nd runners-up received Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 30,000 respectively.
This year’s Miss Mizoram contest began with the audition/elimination round on May 26 last month where 16 finalists were selected to contest the 3-days contests for various sub-titles crown before the grand finale.
