Raha professor in global summit
Gajendra Mohan Dev Sharma, Head, Department of Geography, Raha college has been invited to the USA by Interdisciplinary Environmental Association to present his paper at the 20th International Interdisciplinary Conference on the Environment to be held in Denver, Colorado on June 13-15.
The conference is motivated by the increasing need to combine ideas and research findings from different disciplines to enhance peoples' understanding of the interactions between the natural environment and human institutions.
He is also invited to Bangkok by ' Tomorrow People Organization’s , based in Belgrade, Serbia, ‘Sustainable Development conference on Green technology, renewable energy and environmental protection’ , to present his paper entitled ‘ Municipal solid waste management and ragpickers : A case study of Nagaon town, Assam , India.
The Sustainable Development Conference, organized by the Tomorrow People Organization will take place from 5th July to the 7th July 2014 at the Royal Benja Hotel Thailand in Bangkok, Thailand. The conference will cover areas like best practices, educational development strategies and educational systems around the world, network with other policy makers and NGOs working in the field of supporting the educational development.
