The Central Bureau of Investigation probing the Saradha scam got Sadananda Gogoi in five days custody a day after the investigation agency arrested him in connection with the multi crore scam.
CBI’s special Crime branch got five days custody when the popular singer and film maker was produced before the Alipore court in the afternoon.
The judge granted the remand to the investigation agency till September 17.
Gogoi was arrested at the Kolkata office after five hours of interrogation for his alleged role in the link between Saradha chief Sudipto Sen and a circle of ministers, MLAs and businessmen.
