Trucker killed in Raha

DIBYA J BORTHAKUR, RAHA: A truck driver lost his life in Raha when a huge tree fell on his vehicle on the way to Nagaon from Guwahati ion Monday.

The incident took place near Jongal Balahu Garh on the National Highway 37 where his assistant sustained serious injury. Identified as Bubul Kalita, the driver was an inhabitant of Barama in Nalbari. The injured assistant is undergoing treatment at the Nagaon Civil Hospital.
