Security forces in Chirang arrested yet another NDFB(Songbijit) cadre from  Runikata Tinali on Tuesday a day after four cadres of this outfit were killed at an encounter.

Identified as Simang Basumatary(Tobra) of Runikata Tinali under Runikata police station, he was arrested in the morning. Police seized a 7.65 pistol, two live bullets from his possession.

The Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) has left three constituencies- Sorbhog, Rangia and Bhawanipur to the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP), its ally party. Motor vehicle association warns for non-cooperation in election

The Election Observer for Expenditure for 31-Sidli (ST) LAC Jaginder Singh, IRS on Tuesday arrived at Kajalgaon in Chirang district.
