In yet another act of encouragement for the football fraternity, the Kokrajhar district administration, Kokrajhar district sports association and NTPC jointly felicitated the family members of Durga Boro of Gendrabill and Halicharan Narzary at a function in Kokrajhar on Saturday.
Boro plays for Northeast United Football Club while Narzary represents Goa Football Club showing excellent performance in the ongoing Indian Super League(ISL). Both players are taking on each other at Indira Gandhi Athletic stadium in Guwahati on Saturday.

An emergency response mock drill was conducted by the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) at Habrubari in Kokrajhar district on Friday,which was a part of offsite emergency mock on the IOCL Guwahati-Siliguri underground pipeline to test the preparedness of its emergency personnel.
