Naga girl raped in New Delhi

Yet another rape of 22-year-old woman from Nagaland shocks New Delhi. The incident took place in northwest Delhi’s where the girl from the north eastern region complaint before police that she was raped by her live-in partner on Sunday night. The accused was a 34 year old Nigerian who was her live-in partner who has been picked up after the receipt of the complaint. He allegedly raped the girl at a flat both they shared at Mukherjee Nagar area 9 months ago after she was lured on the pretext of finding her a job in a multi-national company. Sources told Assam Times that the Nigerian whom she met at faceook promised her to prove a good job at an MNC owned by his friend 9 months back. Then the Bangalore based girl from Nagaland rushed to the capital and started living together. They had sexual encounters and she became pregnant. But the Nigerian refused to marry her later forcing the girl to move police on Monday wee hours.

AGARTALA: After interrogating for two hours at a police station in Agartala, the election observer asked Pallab Lochan Das to leave Tripura on Friday night. The power minister was caught in a remote area in Dhalai district in the poll bound north eastern state acting on the allegations of violating model code of conduct since he was allegedly distributing cash among the voters. NEW DELHI: Trouble brews for Pema Khandu after a woman leveled a serious charge against the Arunachal Pradesh chief Minister. The woman who has moved the National Commission for Women has accused Khandu along with his two associates of gang raping her in 2008. GUWAHATI: Amid an unprecedented security bandobast, the High School Leaving Certificate Examination and High Madrasa Examinations 2018 begin on Friday across the state. Altogether 3,44,190 candidates have appeared in the HSLC examination  conducted by the Secondary Education Board of Assam at 852 centres. Of them 176,308 are female while 167,882 others are male.   On the other hand, 5,225 female candidates are appearing in the AHM examination against 4,118 male students.
