Pall of gloom in Nazira

A pall of gloom descended in Nazira when Jadavananda Baruah passed away on Wednesday. He was 90. The social worker and former Nazira Town Committee chairman breathed his last at his own residence in Guwahati in the morning. Baruah is survived by his son and daughter.

Various organisations and individuals condoled in his demise and conveyed their deep sympathies to the bereaved family members.
