Escalating tension along border

Amid an escalating tension along the Assam-Nagaland border areas in Jorhat, Naga miscreants on Monday unleashed a fresh reign of terror atop Tiru hills on Monday.

Naga miscreants set on fire as many as ten huts at the Tiru Hills reserve forest in Rongkham area inside the Assam territory on Monday evening. That too despite deployment of heavy security forces the Naga miscreants came and set the huts on fire before leaving the spot.

The conflict took place after the security forces dismantled many houses illegally set up on the soil of Assam by the goons from Nagaland.
