All citizens must not be left out

Badaruddin Ajmal is not opposed to the process to update NRC but in the same breath he would not tolerate if the genuine citizens are left out.

Addressing a huge awareness rally in Dhubri on Sunday, the AIUUDF president said those opposing his party are scared of its gaining popularity these days. “That’s the reason why they are campaigning against us,” he said in the rally.

Flanked by Karimganj MP Radheshyam Biswas, he said that AIUDF would not have organized NRC awareness rally had he opposed the process.
