Flood woes in Lakhimpur

Flood waters continue to wreak havoc in Lakhimpur district on Thursday. The situation took a grim turn when the surging waters washed away two parts of a road apart from breaching with two embankments.

More than 15,000 people have been reeling under flood waters while more and more areas have come under the surging waters.
State Disaster Response force and National Disaster Response Force are on relief and rescue operation.
