A dreaded ULFA militant is believed to have been killed at an encounter with security forces in Arunachal Pradesh.
The incident took place at Damko area in Changlang district along the interstate border on Saturday wee hours.
Sources told Assam Times that the operation was launched acting on the inputs that two ULFAmen responsible for the killing the Tinsukia incident were hiding in the dense jungles.
The encounter assumed significance hours after an accused in the gory incident surrendered before the authorities.
