Dispur police are bracing up for a major trouble if the post mortem report of Victoria Dayoun Kharkongr is any indication.
The post mortem report suggests severe assault on the head of the Meghalaya girl saying that her head bore a serious injury mark.
Dispur police claimed to have found her body hanging at the washroom inside the police station in the first week of June.
Police detained her acting on a complaint from the International Hospital authorities and the incident took place hours after she was kept inside the lock up.
KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi added no less fuel to the fire alleging that she was repeatedly raped inside the police station to be killed later. Then she was kept hanging inside the washroom to show it a case of suicide. Police authorities later suspended two inspectors alleging negligence of duty.
Initial report suggested it a suicide but it takes new turn after the post mortem report revealed serious head injury.
