Curious UFO in sky!

An unidentified object hovering around the sky in upper Assam pulled no less spell of curiosity among lakhs of people on Wednesday evening.

Much to the utter surprise and curiosity, the comet like object was spotted in the sky in and around the Naharkatiya area at around 9 in the evening forcing the people to come out of their homes to watch the strange objects. But there was no conclusion even from the experts.

The same object struck the heavy attention of the people in Dibrugarh district on Tuesday night.

 

Meanwhile, ISRO officials in Shillong told Assam Times that they were not aware of such objects in the sky. But they said if it is spotted it might be drones.

whether ISRO or NASA they will never confess that ufos are of extraterrestrial origin...i have witnessed an ufo from the front yard of my house in jorhat,assam, india on 23rd june 2015...the ufo hovered for about 40mins and finally shot off at lightning speed into the night sky..it can travel at the blink of an eye and i dont think that a drone has that technology...if drones can accelerate at lightning speed then we sud able to go for interstellar travel sitting in a drone itself..whatever i saw was nothing made on earth..nothing made om earth has technology to accelerate away and shot off at the speed of lightning

Yes. I live in dibrugarh 2days after this event i saw a ufo around 8pm while i was talking to my friend on phone suddenly i heard a loud noise and the phone's signal was lost.my frined too heard ths noise. I looked up and i saw a big ufo with purple light hovering on top of me. I quickly went inside and called my mom and sister. When they came it went away in a lighting size and became like a star but was moving very fast. My friend also saw the ufo

Assam is bracing up for yet another devastating flood wave if the weather condition is any indication. Weathermen on Monday predicted heavy rainfall in the foothills of Himalayas over the next week raising the possibility of the flood wave.According to the India Meteorological Department, the monsoon is set to bring very heavy rainfall in the foothills of Himalayas which could help the Brahmaputra swell its water level. 
Chief minister Tarun Gogoi on Monday questioned Narendra Modi's position on the integration of Naga dominated areas is part of the recent Naga peace framework.   Addressing a press conference in Guwahati, Gogoi said the prime minister disappointed the people of Assam who were waiting to hear his assurance of safety after the move to integrate the Naga inhabited areas. Gogoi sought the prime minister's position after NSCN-IM Thuingaleng Muivah ruled out a solution without integration of Naga dominated areas of the north east. 
Veteran singer Zubeen Garg seems to have landed in trouble after he hoisted the tricolour with inadmissible dress on Saturday.A local resident in Morigaon lodged a complaint before police saying that the singer hoisted the national flag wearing half pants suggesting utter disregard to the national flag on the Independence Day.

The campaigning for the Tiwa Autonomous Council polls slated for Wednesday is set to end on Monday evening. The campaign will close at 5 in the afternoon.  Led by TAC CEM Rama Kanta Deori, the  Tiwa Jatiya Aikya Mancha threatens to impede the prospect of both Congress and BJP. TJAM has fielded candidates in all the 30 seats with support and help from AGP and CPI.
The Gauhati High Court is expected to hear Akhil Gogoi’s public interest litigation on Monday seeking its intervention in the selection of candidates for ACS, APS and allied services.With evidence, the KMSS leader has been alleging gross corruption in the selection of the candidates by the Assam Public Service Commission where eligible candidates have been deprieved.Despite repeated demands, the government probe failed to convince Gogoi. He moved the governor seeking the exit of the chairman Rakesh Paul. But of no avail. Then he moved the high court which will hear the PIL on Monday.The court has already received affidavits from APSC and government.     
The suicide of a security guard of a minister in Dispur creates no less sensation in the capital on Monday. Identified as Akhil Haloi, the PSO of minister Sumitra Patir committed suicide by shooting himself dead with his service revolver in the midnight. Immediately after the incident, he was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead. Akhil, who hailed from Nalbari district was believed to have been suffering from depression for the last couple of days. Dispur police have seized his service revolver and sent the body for post mortem.
