An Arunachal Pradesh legislator has complained an abortive attempt to end his life by unidentified miscreants in Pasighat. He is none other than Mariyang-Geku MLA Olom Panyang in his FIR alleged that unidentified miscreants severely damaged his temporary house and RCC boundary fencing located at Mone on Friday morning. 

In his FIR he said, “it is my own land, given by my father-in-law and I have full right to use it my best, stated Panyang while visiting the spot on Saturday afternoon.”  He believed that the miscreants wanted to attack him physically but that was not possible because of his absence. Police have registered the case  bearing No Case no.175/15, U/s 447/427/506/341 IPC) at the Pasighat police station.

Violence in Itanagar

Tension prevails in Itanagar on Saturday after mob attack on the residence of Chief Minister Kalikho Pul early in the morning.   Amid stepped up police investigation, police have been quizzing 10 youths who allegedly joined the mob where the main entrance gate was ransacked.   The bizarre incident took place the miscreants vandalized the main entrance gate while proceeding towards the Chief Minister's residence.
