A massive security is in place in and around Guwahati in view of VVIP visit to the premier north eastern city of on Tuesday. ISL chairperson Nita Ambani is scheduled to land the city at around 3 in the afternoon to attend the ISL match where NorthEast United FC are taking on Chennaiyin FC at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Sarusajai.

She would be accompanied by many dignitaries. Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, a few of his cabinet colleagues are also likely to attend the match. All vehicles are being scrutinized on the road from Borjhar airport to Khanapara in view of the high profile visit to the city.

In yet another mysterious  explosion that ripped apart Guwahati on Tuesday 12 people sustained injury putting the security forces in a state of utter confusion and cluelessness.
