The NPS International Kids Film Festival is scheduled to kick off on November 24 with the participation of children from Italy, Sweden, Russia, Brazil, South Africa and the host country India.
Organised by the city based NPS International School in its campus, the three-day event has been organized in association with CHINH Early Education Web Channel.
“Although this is 9th edition of film festival, it has come to our region (northeast India) for the first time. The event includes film screenings, discussions and the networking, which should provide critical insight into the future of kids media,” said JN Das, founder director of NPS International School. Addressing the media persons at Guwahati Press Club today, Das also added that it becomes very important for our children and young people to get adequate exposure to the opportunities in acquiring the new technological skills related to the media literacy.
“This is an unique festival for the participating children and young people, where the kids would decide the winner of best films in all four categories,” stated Das.
