Retired college teacher dies

Moti Kalita, a retired professor of Mathematics with Bajali College died at a private hospital in Guwahati sending shock in the entire area on Saturday. He was 76 when he died after suffering from diabetes for the last couple of months.

He was admitted to the International Hospital in Guwahati where he passed away in the morning. He is survived by his wife, one son and two daughter. His dead body was taken to Pathsala where his fans and students paid him their last respect. Later it was kept for a brief period of time at the Bajali College premises to facilitate the students and teachers pay their last respect.
