Hagrama, Mahanta face ire
BTAD chief Hagrama Mohilary faced no less wrath of the local residents in Balajan as he visited Balajan on Sunday two days after 14 people died in militant attack at an open market.
As Mohilary and Prafulla Kumar Mahanta reached the incident site, local residents in large number staged huge protest demanding safety and security.
They rued before the duo that utter lawlessness prevails in the entire area and even the security forces have not been able to build confidence.
“Nobody knows who would kill us. We might be killed at any time. Who will ensure our safety?,” the panic stricken people in Balajan told Hagrama Mohilary and Mahanta.
Both they tried to quell the agitated people. But they alleged lawlessness and an insecured situation in the BTAD areas.
