NDFB-S cadre held

Security forces belonging to Assam Police and Army arrested, at a join operation arrested a cadre of NDFB-S from Patabari area under Runikhata PS in Chirang district on Wednesday . The cadre was identified as Swmkhwr Kaklary alias K Saiklom. An Insus riffle, magazine and 60 live rounds recovered from  him.

Bonzar SC beat Nahata SC

Kokrajhar: Bonzar Sports Club, Kachugaon beat Nahata Sports Club, Kokrajhar Tea Estate 3-1 goals in the opening match of United Jilimili Prizemoney Trophy-2018 being played at Magurmari Jilimili Club playground in Kokrajhar.  For Bonzar, Dwimalu Basumatary scored first goal in 3 minutes.Again Dhanjit Boro and John Narzary scored one each goal in 4 and 12 minutes against Nahata sports club. Fake doctor arrested in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar: Kokrajhar police apprehended a fake doctor with prescription and medicines at Kokrajhar town today. The arrested doctor has been dealing his fake profession of treatment among Piles patients since few five years at a chamber at New Bhowal Medical in Kokrajhar town along the JD Road. Based on the public complaint against the fake doctor, who himself written on his prescription pad as Dr Hafis Aziz Rahman(Dr HA Rahman), police apprehended today from New Bhowal Medical pharmacy in Kokrajhar. Kokrajhar: Football tournament to kick off from Aug 31

Preparations are get underway to host the first ever United Jilimili Prizemoney Trophy -2018 at Magurmari Jilimili Playground in Kokrajhar district, scheduled to be kicked off from August 31.
