BTAD bandh affected normal life

Normal life was paralyzed in BTAD districts due to 12 hours BTAD bandh called by Peoples Democratic Movement for Boroland on Friday, demanded early creation of separate Boroland state and stop of atrocities on common publics in the name of militant cadres searching in the region. 

All kinds of transport communication along the road and 31C national highway in Kokrajhar district, besides business institutions like bazaar, market, shops remain closed on the day. Most of the government offices were also remained due to the bandh, which was started from 5 am and concluded by 5 pm. Bandh was also affected in different places of Chirang, Baksa and Udalguri districts. 

The bandh was passed peaceful with affecting road communication and business institutions remained off on the day. 

The PDMB demanded early creation of separate Bodoland state under Article 2 & 3 of constitution of India to meet good governance in the region. The PDMB also demanded stop of atrocities by security forces while in search of militant cadres in the region.
