As many as 15 books were released on the second day of the ongoing International Book fair cum literary festival, cultural exchange, food festival being held held at Bagduar Nwgwr, Bijni in Chirang district on Friday.
The international event has been coincided with the celebration of 33rd foundation day of the Bodo Writers' Academy, an organization of Bodo writers in the state of Assam. Tinsukia, March 22: Suspected militants of the banned outfit United Liberation Front of Asom (Independent) (ULFA-I) launched a pre-dawn attack on an Assam Police commando camp in the Jagun area of Tinsukia district, leaving at least four security personnel injured.
