CM's scholarship examination Kokrajhar

Nearly 6500 students from dirrent schools under five education blocks in Kokrajhar district seated in the written test for Chief Minister’s Special Scholarship examination 2016 that was conducted on Sunday in Kokrajhar district.

The examination was conducted by district elementary education officer(DEEO) at different centres in five education blocks in the district. For Kokrajhar education block,the examination was held at Kokrajhar Girls HS school where 1832 students from class V and VIII seated in the examination. In Dotma block,1271 candidates attended at Dotma Girls High School, 1365 candidates attended in the examination at Kachugaon Public High school under Kachugaon block. In Gossaigaon block,1252 candidates appeared in exmaination held at Gossaigaon HS school and 758 candidates attended at Debitola High school under Debitola eductaion block.

The passed candidates would be given away five thousand in cheque in fixed deposit on his account through which students are getting scholarship opprtunity from education department.

SN Goyary, Kokrajhar DEEO told that the examination was conducted as per guideline reached from education department in the state. ‘We hope the examination is creating strong educational environment among students in the region’, he said.
