In a bid to encourage the ignited spirits of Tangla Jana Jagaran Society organised a felicitation programme for the meritious students who passed out HSLC at the Bor Tangla ME school on the outskirts of the town on Saturday.
The felicitation programme was graced aschief guest by Nilamoni Bora retired Principal of Tangla HS .The programme which was presided over by Santeswar Rabha President of the society was sponsored by P& D Enterprise co-ordinated by noted comedian and actor Bipul Rabha and Khoirabari Revenue Circle Officer Lakhya Jyoti Das.
The maiden speech on the programme was delivered by Ashim Roy. Speaking on the ocassion Nabin Ch. Bezbaruah said that the district is lacking behind in education sphere,not many students of the region make into competitive examinations.He urged the students to set definite goals and struggle to achieve them. He hailed Jana Jagaran Society and Dipen Das(Toppa) the propietor of P & D Enterprise for organising such an event.
