Bengali body demands CBI probe
The All India Bengali Youth Student's Federation (AIBYSF) and All Assam Bengali Youth Student's Federation (BBYSF) will stage sit-in-demonstration on September 7 at Dispur last gate in Guwahati demanding CBI probe into the Silapothar and Nagaon incident.
Speaking the News Conference held at Amala Bhawan in Kokrajhar on Sunday, Shyamal Sarkar, president of All India Bengali Youth Student's Federation and Deepak Dey, president of the Assam state federation demanded stern actions against incidents of Silapothar and Nagaon in the state.
The federation have condemned the Nagaon incident which had created resented among the citizens, said that it was created by some so called activities to indulge misunderstanding in the state. They accused of Chief Minister, who had well known about both incidents held at Silapothar and Nagaon, but yet he has been keeping silence into situations.

Kokrajhar police arrested two NDFB-S linkmen from different locations in Kokfrajhar district. The arrested youths have been identified as Heremba Muchahary, 19 and Sudem Borgoyary, 26. The re-polling at 24-polling station at Kachugaon ME school under 28-Gossaigaon LAC was recorded of 88.15% poll and passed off peaceful, held on Sunday in tight security in Kokrajhar. The re-polling was necessitated following technical problem of EVMs on April 11 last. Voters from the polling booth come out and queue since early morning for re-polling and cast their votes. There were 320 cast votes out of 363 votes with recorded of 88.15 percent polls in the station.
