Bengali body demands CBI probe
The All India Bengali Youth Student's Federation (AIBYSF) and All Assam Bengali Youth Student's Federation (BBYSF) will stage sit-in-demonstration on September 7 at Dispur last gate in Guwahati demanding CBI probe into the Silapothar and Nagaon incident.
Speaking the News Conference held at Amala Bhawan in Kokrajhar on Sunday, Shyamal Sarkar, president of All India Bengali Youth Student's Federation and Deepak Dey, president of the Assam state federation demanded stern actions against incidents of Silapothar and Nagaon in the state.
The federation have condemned the Nagaon incident which had created resented among the citizens, said that it was created by some so called activities to indulge misunderstanding in the state. They accused of Chief Minister, who had well known about both incidents held at Silapothar and Nagaon, but yet he has been keeping silence into situations.

At least nine women were apprehended by female constable of SSB of 16th battalion(Bn) for involved in the smuggling who were trying to evade the international border,besides seized illicit Bhutanese liquor of Rs 19,665 from Dadgiri and Dholkola in Chirang district on Monday. Security forces apprehended a link man/over ground worker of NDFB-S militant outfit from Guruphela area under Kachugaon PS in Kokrajhar on Saturday. Based on an input about presence of militant outfit link men in the area, a joint team of police and army raided and able to apprehend the link man along with cash.
