HOJAI: In a bid to empower girls by training them in the art of self-defence State Level Advisory Commiittee For Students And Youth Welfare is holding "Self Defence Coaching For Girls". The coaching is continuing since 22nd March will conclude on Saturday Adarsha Bidya Niketan High School,Hojai Campus.
A Total of 120 Girls from four school of Hojai town are learning the skills of self defence. 17 Girls from Skylark English Academy, 23 Girls from Gandhi Vidya Pith High School, 40 Girls from Abdul Hasib Girls High School and 40 Girls from Adarsha Bidya Niketan High School.
Sumit Dutta,Principal,Skylark English Academy and KP Dutta,Head Master of Adarsha Bidya Niketan High School are playing vital role' s in managing the entire event.
Talking to Assam Times, Sumit Dutta, said,"Girls learning self-defence techniques will raise self-confidence and empower them to face any adverse situation."
