Proyaash continuing support for the blast victims

Proyaash, an organisation established with an aim to work for the betterment of Assam, had distributed fruits and other eatables to the blast victims at GMCH on November 11. It is to be mentioned that as a part of their activities the members of Proyaash have distributed fruits and other eatables to the victims at MMCH in last week. The team who visited the GMCH includes Buljit Buragohian, Mofid Rahman, Ankit Das, Shah Nawaz, Tarun Gogoi, Biplob Gogoi and they were helped by other members.

Proyaash was established early this year with few students and young professional based in different parts of the country. The organization was established after discussing social issues at a social networking site. Today its members are based in different parts of the world. The organisation has planned other activities which will be implemented by their members in different parts of Assam.

It's a great "proyas" to help that innocent people. I am very thankful to all “proyas” members & I wish to join “proyas”. I request “proyas” to continue there great job to help not only bomb blast victims, they give there hands to the flood victims also.

North East Youth Foundation is organising second Saraighat Film Festival (SFF) on 1st and 2nd November in Guwahati. SFF shall screen documentaries made by young people and best documentary shall win prize money apart from other prizes. Any young person up to the age of 30 may join the festival by sending their short films.
