The Bodoland Cup Cricket Tournament concluded successfully on Thursday at the DN Himmat Singha High School Playground in Kokrajhar, witnessing enthusiastic participation and competitive cricket.
The tournament was organised by Rainbow NGO, Kokrajhar, with support from the Kokrajhar Cricket Association, with the objective of promoting a vibrant sporting environment among cricket enthusiasts in the region.
A total of eight teams from Baksa, Kokrajhar, and Dhubri districts participated in the tournament, making the competition lively and engaging for players as well as spectators.
The final match was played between Sangrila NGO and Gangster Club. In a thrilling encounter, Sangrila NGO emerged as the champions by defeating Gangster Club to lift the Bodoland Cup.
The winning team, Sangrila NGO, was awarded a cash prize of ₹51,000 along with a trophy, while the runners-up, Gangster Club, received ₹31,000 and a trophy.
