Junior Engineer abducted in Nalbari

Nalbari : Suspected ULFA militants kidnapped Bhagawan Das, a DRDA junior engineer from Chamata chowk near Belsor in Nalbari district around 7.20 pm on Saturday. The abductors numbering around 7-8 came in civil fatigue came in a white Maruti van and picked up Mr. Das forcefully and flew away. Several pedestrians tried to intercept the van but the miscreants fired at least four rounds on them to stop the venture. No one was hurt in this firing. Das was attached with West Nalbari development Block
