More than 24 hours have passed but the information and where about of Arunachal Pradesh’s Chief Minister is yet to be found. Some sources from the CM office said that he his safe but no one could find where is Dorji Khandu,CM of Arunachal Pradesh.
Three helicopters and more than 300 army people are being engaged in the search operation for the CM. Apart from Indian Army, Indian Air force, Sasastra Seema Bal (SSB) Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and others are also actively engaged in search operation of chief minister. Communication has been made with the government of Bhutan and they have provided permission for search and rescue in there areas. Meanwhile two union ministers have reached Guwahati to get updates about the entire incident.
Bad weather has become hurdled this morning as search operation got some challenges due to this. But as search operation is on it is expected that the information would be collected soon. It is to be mentioned that Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has also come into the scene as they have engaged satellites to take picture and help in the search operation of missing CM.
Yesterday there was confusion in the afternoon with claims made by Arunachal Governor and then CM’s office and Defence spokesperson. But the fact till now is that there is no correct information about the helicopter for which operation to find the CM and others are on. It has bought confusion amongst the people of the region as there were different comments from different sources. As the search operation is on in full swing, it is expected that latest information and authentic information would be available soon.

It's same like the scenerio of Bin Laden. Wheathr US government got him alive or dead none knows. But Obama knows very well dead Bin Laden s very mush riskier issue than the alive one. So speculation is there that he might had been caught much before by bribing some agents of ISI; same way whether Khandu had been kidnapped by NSCN (K) or not, none can confirm excpet the Indian government. The rest is just speculation and rumr. may be.
Security forces belonging to army and police have claimed to arrest a KLO cadre from Anthaibari on Thursday in Kokrajhar district. Based on an information, a joint team of security forces launched operation and managed to arrest KLO cadre identified as Mukti Roy of Anthaibari village under Kokrajhar PS. The arrested handed over to Kokrajhar PS. Roy was involved in extortion, recruiting new cadres, illegal and nefarious activities. A country made riffle along with live ammunition was recovered from him.

Assam cyclists team at the 68th National Track Cycling Championship held at Ludhiana, Punjab from December 16-20 won several awards. Gold Medal in 3000 meters Team Pursuit for under 18 girls won by Anu Chutia, Bismita Gogoi, Bristi Kangkana Gogoi, Jayashree Gogoi. Anu Chutia also won silver medals in the 500 Mtr. Time Trial and 200 Mtr. Sprint. In 500 Mtr. Time Trial – Girls under 16 Years , Bronze Medal won by Bristi Kangakana Gogoi. In yet another incident of moral policing, an irate mob of a remote village in Nagaon district stripped off a woman and a person to be mercilessly beaten up sending no less shock and sensation across the state on Wednesday. The incident took place in the afternoon at No 2 Beltola village in Kampur bordering Karbi Anglong village where a section of local villagers caught the duo alleging illicit affairs between them. Bihu dance in Assam is set to dazzle in the Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi. The state's tableau will showcase the age old Assamese Bihu dance before lakhs of people in the national capital. Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Tuesday requested defence minister Manohar Parrikar to give the state an opportunity to display its tableau in the forthcoming Republic Day celebrations. Amid a fresh barrage of controversy over the performance of Hindi songs in the Bihu functions, the United Liberation Front of Asom (I) on Tuesday warned the state artists to refrain from for performing in Hindi to keep the age old Assamese culture alive. In a statement issued to Assam Times, ULFA-I C-in-C Paresh Baruah said that they will not tolerate Hindi songs on the Bihu stage at least for the first seven days and that if any artist fails to stick to it it they won't be responsible for any unexpected incident. Assam will go to the two or three phase assembly polls before April 10 next year. This was the impression of the full bench of the Election Commission which is on a two days visit to the poll bound state on Monday. The county’s poll panel has decided to hold the polls before Bohag Bihu when all political parties categorically told the Commission on Monday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will likely be visiting Assam in February with a slew of programmes lined up two months before the assembly polls. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Tezpur MP RP Sarma said that he invited Modi to attend the Sankardev Sangha annual session at Sivasagar on February 8. Apart from it, Sarma urged the Prime Minister to launch the BPCL in Dibrugarh which would be ready by then. He said that Modi is expected to lay the corner stone of the AIIMS in North Guwahati.
