Sadhana Das passes away

Sadhana Das (69 years), wife of a benevolent social worker of Jorhat Jiten Das has left her mortal body on 21st June, 2007 at Dispur Hospital, Guwahati. She has left behind her husband, her only son Mr. Jyotimoi Das and her two daughters along with many other relatives.

Kaziranga National Park opens up for the tourists on Saturday. Forest minister Pramila Rani Brahma formally opened the abode of one horn rhino at a brief function at Kohora range in presence of dozens of foreign tourists who arrived in the area three days back. World Heart Day observed by Dispur Hospitals

Assam's well known medical institution Dispur Hospitals celebrated World Heart Day on Thursday with a march in the morning for creating awareness about heart ailments.
