Sadhana Das passes away

Sadhana Das (69 years), wife of a benevolent social worker of Jorhat Jiten Das has left her mortal body on 21st June, 2007 at Dispur Hospital, Guwahati. She has left behind her husband, her only son Mr. Jyotimoi Das and her two daughters along with many other relatives.

According to a media report, a telephonic conversation has been intercepted where an alleged Jihadi has firmly revealed the presence of at least 100 terrorists to strike in Assam along with some other parts of the country with active support from ULFA.
