    David Dimasa submits Nomination for Dima Hasao election

Debojit Bathari @ David Dimasa former Home secretary of Dima Halam Daogah (Jewel) submitted his nomination to P C Kakoti, ACS, Project Director, DRDA, Haflong on Tuesday in presence of hundreds of his supporters.

Bathari is contesting the election to 11th Dima Hasao Autonomous Council as independent candidate from 21st Hadingma constituency of Dima Hasao Autonomous Council. The election to all the 28 constituencies of Dima Hasao Autonomous Council is slated to be held on May 20th next. Bathari is the first candidate who submitted the nomination for the forthcoming election to the Dima Hasao Autonomous Council. The last date for the submission of nomination is April 26.

Bathari said the Hadingma area is one of the most neglected areas of the district and the people of the area mostly dependent on agriculture, there is no other avenue for the people of the area. Once he is elected he would give preference to the proper implementation of MoS because the proper implementation of the MoS would bring all round development not only to the area but in the entire Dima Hasao district. He confidently claimed that the people of the area would extend their support and would vote in favour of him.
