BJP President Sarbananda Sonowal filed his nomination papers in Lakhimpur on Friday. Thousands of his supporters took out a huge rally in Lakhimpur to welcome Sonowal to the Deputy Commissioner’s office where the state BJP president submitted his papers before the returning officer.
