HS Exam begins

Assam Higher secondary examination begins in science, arts and commerce streams on Wednesday.

According to the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council over 2,54,000 candidates are appearing  this year in 792 centres across the state.

The council has set up special committee in the district level to ensure free and fair examination.

Over 2,000 officials have been deployed to deal with anomalies and irregularities. Barring a few anomalies, the examinations are going on peacefully.   

The High School Leaving Certificate Examination is also scheduled to begin on Thursday.
