Assamese trader abducted in M’laya

Suspected GNLA militants kidnapped two businessmen from West Garo hills district in Meghalaya on Friday.

According to information, four armed youths whisked the duo away from Gaattuli area on their way back from the market in the afternoon. Meghalaya police have launched rescue operations . But there is no trace of the businessmen hailing from Assam. Details are awaited.
