AASU pays tribute to Biju Da

The demise of Biju Phukan descended a pall of gloom among his fans and followers in Udalguri along with other parts of the state as the people cutting across caste,community and religion mourned the sudden end of the actor.

People from various walks of life paid floral tribute to the portait of the actor and observed a minute of silence for the eternal peace of the departed soul at a special tributary programme held at the heart of Tangla town on Friday evening. The programme organised by Tangla Anchalik AASU Tangla unit and Tangla unit of AASU.
