Bhupen Hazarika remembered in Kokrajhar

Singing fans and common publics of Kokrajhar, heart town of BTAD administration recalled contribution and dedication  of maestro Dr Bhupen Hazarika towards cultural integration and development in Assam as well across the country on his 4th death anniversary on Thursday.

The anniversary was organised by district administration, Kokrajhar at Basic Training Centre auditorium.

Madhav Prasad Sarma, DC, Kokrajhar attending the occasion as chief guest offered rich floral tribute to Dr Bhupen, followed by Shyamal Prasad Saikia, SP Kokrajhar and fans of Dr Hazarika on the day. 

Sarma recalling Dr Bhupen said that the state of Assam got a good status in thd field of cultural through contribution of Dr Bhupen Hazarika. Dr Bhupen had dedicated his whole life for the growth nd development of the cultural integration through singing, directing film, lyric and produced more films, which had influenced common masses, Sarma said.
