NDFB-S rebel arrested

A NDFB-S cadre was apprehended from Dimruguri under Kachugaon police station in Kokrajhar district today.

 Based on information, a joint operation was launched by army and Kokrajhar police and apprehended the rebel. He was identified as Pankaj Brahma alias Kamlan alias Kayal, 18, One 7.65 mm pistol, a magazine and three rounds live ammunition of 7.65 mm were recovered from him, said a senior police officer. 

Police said the rebel was involved in many cases of extortion and money collection.
