No end to hawker impasse

A committee of citizens set up to resolve the hawker-agent conflict in Guwahati failed to resolve the crisis on Saturday.

Presided over by veteran journalist DN Chakravartty, the meeting failed to pull the agents who have been denying to talk to the hawkers again a day after they called the agitation an illegal.
